Kris
Big and bold, Kris is always a crowd favorite. As a veteran of Equus Nobilis, he has been to many many joust shows around the country. Early on, he spent many shows as Sir Malcolm (Dan Foss)’s mount, and now carries other riders for some of their favorite joust memories. We love him dearly, and in his spare time, Kris enjoys swimming and being slightly mischievous.

Onyx
Onyx is a wonderful joust horse. Another veteran with Equus Nobilis, she has been a rockstar in our shows. She is a perfectionist, and will let you know if you do not do things to her standards. Onyx is a steady mare with a great spirit, which makes her fun to ride.

Raven
Is the sweetest horse. A former carriage horse, she rides wonderfully and isn’t phased by anything! She is new to the Equus Nobilis team, and loves her new job. She has taken to jousting like she was born to do it. Due to her good nature, some call her Petunia.

Rocky
A fun-loving eager to please horse, Rocky is a staple to the Equus Nobilis string. He has proven to be a fantastic joust horse

Dillon
With the personality of an over grown pony, Dillon is always willing to greet people. A former carriage horse, Dillon spent a bit of time learning to do dressage and jumping with Rosalie while doing double duty as an announcer’s horse. He has been known to drag the joust field too! When he is not working, he loves apples and giving horse hugs.

Silverado
The most seasoned veteran of the herd, Silverado has been an amazing joust horse for many years. These days he enjoys life in the pasture, with the occasional appearance as an announcer’s horse. The simple pleasures in life of being groomed are not lost on him, as he will stand for hours being groomed if we allowed it.

Lady Sif
A new addition to the Equus Nobilis string. She was pregnant when she came to us, and spent the first year having and raising her lovely foal. This is her first season in the show, and she has proven to be a fantastic joust horse.

Freyja
Affectionately known as The Golden Girl, Freyja was purchased around the same time as Sif. She made her debut at KCRF in 2022, where she was a fantastic joust horse and unicorn :)

Maria
Maria is a wonderful mare, and she frequently joins us as the worlds largest unicorn, but is also impressive on the joust field.
